3M™ 2091 P100 high-efficiency dust filter cotton provides respiratory protection from lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic and malondialdehyde (MDA). In the case of a half mask, this filter cotton can effectively filter a series of applications with a concentration of up to 10 times the allowable exposure limit (PEL), and can filter up to 50 times in a full condition. This filter can filter a wide range of oily and non-oily particulate pollutants. 3M High Efficiency Electret Medium (AEM) is not only comfortable and light, but also easy to breathe. The 2091 series are commonly used for welding, brazing, flame cutting, metal casting, and soldering. Because the dust filter box is suitable for many different applications, it reduces the inventory requirements and training requirements of safety equipment. This filter cotton is flame-retardant and waterproof. The industries that usually use this filter cotton include agriculture, construction, general manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and primary metals.

The dust filter box can be used with a series of different masks, including 3M™ half masks and full masks (6000, 7000 and FF 400 series). If equipped with 3M™ 502 filter cotton socket, the dust filter box can also be used with 3M 5000 series mask and 6000 series filter box. The product is approved by NIOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) and can be used in environments containing certain oily and non-oily particles. In the NIOSH system, the color code assigned to this product is "Magenta". 2091 P100 filter cotton has passed the NIOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) P series test standards, and can achieve at least 99.97% particulate matter filtration efficiency.
